AME is a subsidiary of Viking Yachts, one of the nation’s preeminent yacht manufacturers of convertible, open and sports yachts ranging from 37 to 92 feet. As a result, Atlantic Maritime Electronics and its many clients directly benefit from a 50+ years New Jersey history in boat building.
The many waterways and abundant cedar that fueled maritime construction are only some of the physical legacies of South Jersey’s rich boating history. Boat building in the area has always been a family affair, with craftsmanship skills passed on from generation to generation. Viking Yachts is no different, owned and operated by a single family for 50 years. The rich history brings agility and an innovative spirit has enabled Viking Yachts to become the nation’s leading designer of luxury boating experiences.

Located in New Gretna, New Jersey, AME began its life as the electronic system design company responsible for every Viking Yacht. Today, with major facilities in Riviera Beach, Florida and Destin, Florida, AME is also providing maritime electronic system design and installation for a much wider boat manufacturing base.
With manufacturing facilities in New Jersey encompassing 810,000 square feet, as well as facilities in Riviera Beach, FL, the Viking Yacht facilities features slips for in-water work, as well as land storage to handle larger projects and outfitting. Most recently, the company debut of the Viking 92 Convertible, which features state-of- the-art systems and construction methods throughout, is currently taking the industry by storm. The 92-footer is the culmination of over 50 years of boat-building experience and knowledge.
